The crew chops it up with DJ E Sudd

SUDD SUDD SUDD! It’s impossible to discuss hip-hop music in the Carolinas without mentioning High Point native DJ E Sudd and our hosts recently sat down with Sudd to talk about everything from his relationship with 2 Chainz and the No Stress Sound Academy in Charlotte to balancing his career and fatherhood, and everything in between.

Sudd, who moved to the Triad when he was 3-years-old from Maryland, said he got his start by selling CD’s and throwing parties in high school. He said he kept his head down and continued to work during his time an NC A&T State University and the rest is history. Today, Sudd is one of the most well known DJ’s in the game and has traveled the world doing what he loves.

“Music has always been my passion from selling CD’s…in high school proms, after parties I made sure I set the mood and that kinda translated when I went to A&T. That’s when I really started to learn the game more and got the opportunity to move around with some older Dj’s who shared the game and shed some light…went up to 102 Jamz a little bit and now we’re here.”
